This week we had a baptism! Leanne was Gq'ed a few days before I got to Perth and she has been a blessing to us since then. Before we even invited her to come to church for a second time she said that she'd requested to have Sundays off at work so she would be able to come every week! We were astounded! Her baptismal service was small but she really enjoyed the spirit that was there and that she is a part of this gospel.

The weather was pretty crazy here and put a damper in things this week. We were only allowed to proselyte around close to our flat so we spent some time chapping. Which was honestly a little fun. It made me think a lot of where I had been where we only did chapping and the finding wasn't the best. Having the experience of chapping this week was really good for me, I was able to reflect a lot and really think how far I've come since just a few months ago. I was able to be really grateful for being able to stretch and work through a lot of trials that I've faced.

I read this scripture this week and I really liked it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2 Peter 1:3-4

Have a good week!
